Drie jonge componisten van KASK & Conservatorium en drie topensembles: The ECMA Project koppelde Yngwie Janseghers, Milo van Binnendijk en Flore Delvaux respectievelijk aan het Turicum Quartet, het Osimun Quartet en het Susato Trio. Verder hoort u onder meer Szymanowski, Bach en Boulanger.
Het Turicum Quartet won, amper twee jaar na hun oprichting in 2021, een tweede prijs op de Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition en stond zo meteen internationaal op de radar. Het Spaanse Osimun Quartet werd vorig jaar nog finalist van Dutch Classical Talent, met een uitgebreide Nederlandse tournee tot gevolg. Ook het Susato Trio, dat u later dit seizoen opnieuw kunt bewonderen, won meerdere prijzen, waaronder de eerste prijs én de publieksprijs op de Supernova-wedstrijd van radiozender Klara. Ter voorbereiding van het concert kunt u in masterclasses de artistieke voorbereiding van dichtbij meemaken.
Three young composers from KASK & Conservatorium and three leading ensembles: The ECMA Project paired Yngwie Janseghers, Milo van Binnendijk and Flore Delvaux with the Turicum Quartet, the Osimun Quartet and the Susato Trio respectively. The programme also features works by Szymanowski, Bach and Boulanger, amongst others.
Barely two years after their formation in 2021, the Turicum Quartet won second prize at the Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition, instantly putting them on the international radar. The Spanish Osimun Quartet were finalists in last year’s Dutch Classical Talent competition, which led to an extensive tour of the Netherlands. The Susato Trio, whom you can enjoy again later this season, have also won several prizes, including first prize and the audience prize at the Supernova competition organised by radio station Klara. In the run-up to the concert, you can experience the artists’ preparations at close quarters through a series of masterclasses.
