Het Reinert Creve Trio is het eerste project waarin pianist Reinert Creve op de voorgrond treedt. Geflankeerd door Toon Putteman op drums en Ruben Verbeeck op contrabas, gaat het trio op zoek naar hoe eenvoud en lyriek een verhaal kan vertellen. Zo proberen ze hun eigen interpretatie binnen de hedendaagse jazz weer te geven op een manier waarbij improvisatie en communicatie centraal staan.
The Reinert Creve Trio is the first project to feature pianist Reinert Creve. Flanked by Toon Putteman on drums and Ruben Verbeeck on double bass, the trio explores how simplicity and lyricism can tell a story. In this way, they try to reflect their own interpretation within contemporary jazz in a way where improvisation and communication are central.
