De Muziekkapel Koningin Elisabeth, gevestigd in de modernistische hermitage nabij het Zoniënwoud, is al sinds 1939 een broedplek voor jong talent. Jaarlijks ontvangt ze vijftig uitzonderlijke muzikale talenten uit binnen- en buitenland om hen verder op te leiden en hun integratie in het professionele circuit te bevorderen. Deelname aan de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd kan daarbij beslist helpen. Deze editie zullen drie zangers uit de kapel naar het welbevinden dingen van voorzitter Gilles Ledure’s eminente jury. Bij wijze van voorbereiding op hun deelname aan de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd spelen zij hun repertoire in onze eigenste MIRY Concertzaal. Met een beetje geluk ziet u de winnaar misschien wel een kleine maand vroeger aan het werk dan de Brusselaars.
The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, located in a modernist hermitage near the Sonian Forest, has been a breeding ground for young talent since 1939. They annually take on 50 exceptional musical talents from Belgium and abroad to continue to train and promote their professional advancement. Participation in the Queen Elisabeth Competition can certainly help. For this year’s competition, three singers from the Chapel compete for the favour of chairman Gilles Ledure’s distinguished jury. In preparation, they will play their repertoire in our very own MIRY Concert Hall. You might even see the winner a month earlier than the Brussels crowd.
