Een nieuwe generatie jonge operatalenten koos Gent als thuishaven om zich de volgende twee jaar voor te bereiden op hun carrière. Deze jonge artiesten afkomstig uit alle windstreken vervolmaken hun studies in de International Opera Academy, een postgraduaat dat al meer dan 20 jaar jonge zangers opleidt op de Bijlokesite. Het verzamelen van de nodige podiumervaring is noodzakelijk voor elke artiest. Dit concert is er zo één. Zij vergasten u op een swingend concert vol bekende opera melodieën en meezingers uit het operetteoeuvre. Een misschien minder bekend maar door het Gents publiek zeker gesmaakt repertoire.
A new generation of young vocal talents has chosen Ghent as their home base for the next two years to prepare themselves for their careers. These young artists from all over the world are continuing their studies at the International Opera Academy, a postgraduate program that has been training young singers for more than 20 years. Gathering the necessary stage experience is essential for every artist. This concert is one of them. They will entertain you with a swinging concert full of well-known opera melodies and sing-alongs from the operetta oeuvre. Maybe a lesser known but certainly also appreciated repertoire by the Ghent audience.
